Asmita Chakraborty
Asmita Chakraborty is the disciple of Sri Subir Thakur since the last years and has also been pursuing her training under Smt Madhumita Roy for the last one year. She has secured 1st position at the Akhil Bharatiya Sangeet Pratiyogita organized by Prayag Sangit Samithi, Allahabad. She also stood 1st in different state and district competitions. She has performed in various prestigious festivals like "Kathak Ek Anubhav, Kathak Marathon","Nritya Katha" in memory of Lt Pt Jailal Maharaj, "International Indan Classical Dance & Music Festival- ICDMF Kolkata 2018" organized byPrvai SannskreetiKala Vikaash Kendra.She has also attended the workshops of eminent Gurus and Kathak exponents like,Guru Pt Birju Maharaj,St Saswati Sen, Guru Pt Rajendra Gangani, Guru Smt Madhumita Roy, Sri Ramaprasad Chattopadhyay.
